How does the process work?
First, you record your audio using any of VIQ’s easy-to-use recording solutions. Next, using a few simple commands, you move the recorded audio to the VIQ NetScribe server using your Internet connection. The transcription process can even begin while the audio is still being recorded. Your authorised transcriptionists download the audio from the server and transcribe the audio using their word processing program. The audio can be broken into segments and distributed to multiple transcriptionists simultaneously. The partial transcripts are then edited and compiled into the final transcript, which is returned to you in electronic format.
With NetScribe, you can have your transcriptionists working together in an office or have them work from a remote location such as their own home. If you don’t currently have dedicated transcriptionists, Spark & Cannon’s in-house transcriptionists can provide these services.
